ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Artificial Intelligence is transforming our world, but are we fully prepared for the risks it brings?
This In-person, 2-hour intensive workshop in Halifax was designed specifically for Black professionals and other underrepresented groups in tech to deepen understanding of AI systems, their potential risks, and how we can shape a safer future together.
We broke down how AI systems learn, make decisions, and act, and then dove into the points where things can go wrong. From bias and data harms to questions of accountability and human control, this workshop equipped it's participants with the insights and tools to navigate AI’s ethical, social, and safety challenges.
