At TechForward Impact, we believe the most compelling measure of our work lies in the voices of those we serve.
Our Programs have reached a growing community of passionate Black professionals from across the globe; individuals who are actively reshaping the future of technology, policy, and ethics within their spheres of influence.
Their feedback offers authentic insight into the depth, relevance, and urgency of our work.
Every reflection shared here is genuine, voluntarily provided, and verifiable. We've included links to participants' public profiles by clicking on their names; a small but important way to underscore the transparency, credibility, and real-world value of our programs.
These voices are not only testimonials; they are the evidence of change in motion!
FEEDBACK FROM PARTICIPANTS
"Before the bootcamp, I had never considered AI as a viable career path. But by the second week, I found
myself actively researching how to apply AI to clinical research, my area of interest. The bootcamp
helped me understand not only the technical side of AI but also the social and ethical responsibilities
that come with its development."
"It was truly an enriching experience.
They delivered deep insights into complex governance frameworks, translating them into practical, real-world applications of AI safety and policy.
From ethical considerations to regulatory implications, their perspectives were clear, impactful, and thought-provoking.
Grateful to have learned from such brilliant minds, and I’m excited to apply these insights to future projects while contributing to the ongoing dialogue on ethical and accountable AI."
"It was a wonderful 4 weeks well spent, impactful, highly interactive and above all very educative.
The challenge to delve fully into AI Safety, governance and contribute to the future without a mindset is here.
A very well deserved thanks to TechForward Impact , Nancy Eke-Agu AIGP, CAITL, PMI-RMP, PMP and Prof. Rita Orji, PhD keep doing what you know how to do best.."
"I built a Chat-Based AI Motivation Agent, and it’s on Telegram!
"This started as a little side project, but it really opened my eyes to the potential of AI and automation.
This project was inspired by the 4-week Foundations of AI Safety & Governance Bootcamp hosted by TechForward Impact.
It got me thinking: how can we build AI that’s not just smart, but supportive?"
" I'm sending a big thumbs up to TechForward Impact for taking me through this invaluable journey!
The syllabus were comprehensive and the course delivery was outstanding.
With this foundation in AI safety and governance, I'm eager to explore more advanced topics and skills."
"There is certainly no better way to approach the exploding AI incursion into our reality than to embrace, explore and capitalize on it.
It was inspiring to see AI enthusiasts like myself espousing and delving into the possibilities and gains of AI across different facets of life, while being awake to the potential of
skewed narratives like biases and control of AI.
Thanks to TechForward Impact, Prof. Rita Orji, PhD, Nancy Eke-Agu AIGP, CAITL, PMI-RMP, PMP for your excellent facilitation of the AI Risks and Safety Workshop!"

"The key takeaway for me is that without inclusive and robust governance, AI risks widening existing inequalities.
As algorithms increasingly influence jobs, finance, and opportunities, marginalised communities are most at risk of being left behind.
It is a call to action for all of us.
During the course, I learnt that we can all contribute to a more equitable AI-powered future through various strategies,
such as advocating for clear and understandable AI systems, connecting experts with marginalised communities,
and proactively supporting training and new skills for workers in high-risk industries."
"As someone building with AI, I believe that technical excellence must go hand-in-hand with ethical responsibility.
The future of AI isn’t just about what we can build, but what we should build.
Grateful to the facilitators Prof. Rita Orji, PhD, Nancy Eke-Agu AIGP, CAITL, PMI-RMP, PMP,
and the entire team at TechForward Impact for delivering such a transformative learning experience."
